Cat bed
Cats are independent, so they need a place to sleep and call their own. It could be a sofa, bed or armchair, but if you want to train your cat to sleep in his own bed, you’ll find a style to suit your room. Cat blankets are perfect for throwing on the sofa for her to stretch out for the night, or for a catnap. Or there are round beds with low sides, that will make her feel supported and safe. All are machine washable, and some can be machine dried.

With lots of colours, shapes and materials to choose from, you will find a cat bowl to suit your home décor and satisfy your cat. Ceramic saucers are a popular choice; they come in natural, funky and bold colors, with patterns and slogans. Pampered princess is a popular slogan for the spoilt feline. There is also a good range of stainless steel bowls. These are non slip and your cat will find it hard to push them around, so there’s less mess and chance of spillage.
It’s a good idea to have a plastic mat under your cat’s feeding bowl. There are lots of funky mats designed for cats, or buy a plain plastic dinner mat. They are easily cleaned after meals.
Cat food
Good cat food is nutritionally balanced for your cat’s health. There are lots of brands to choose from, so have a look at the label for the nutritional information and content of the cat food. You can choose to serve your cat dry or wet food, and there are complete foods for the different stages of your cat’s life. Kittens need a nutritionally balanced food to support the growing kitten’s development. Teeth are kept healthy by munching on kibble type food and specially prepared dental treats.
